    How's Tubby?

    How's Tubby doing?
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers

    Thanks for asking Lisa.

He's doing great! Both he and Peanut had quite the exciting weekend last weekend, and he loved every minute of it....but that's another story which will have to wait until I get all the pics downloaded and the story written up.

For now, though, he really is doing good. He's in his little bed right now snoring away. He hasn't thrown up in over a week - which is always a good thing - and it seems he's getting around better these days. Hasn't "missed" the couch or anything, and was actually up on a counter again this weekend, nibbling on some hamburgers I had thawing, but that's part of the other story...

I think maybe the reason those "bad days" get to me so much, is because on his "good days" I swear he's no older than 10 and I feel he'll be around forever - which of course he's going to be!

However, I do know that's not true. So to make sure I remember everything when he's gone, I've been trying to take pics of some of the things he does which I think are just too precious. Here are 3 of those. When I'm sitting doing schoolwork he'll have to come over by me (MUST be by mom) and when I reach over to give him a smooch he'll give me head bumpies. I just love it when he does this, so without further ado, Tubby gives sweet head bumpies.

It might look like I'm just touching heads with him, but sometimes he pushes with such force I think I'm going to get a bruise.

So there's my big precious sweet boy. Thanks so much for asking about him.

So glad to hear that Tubby's better. You know, some of us on Pet Talk love him so much we think he's ours........ I wonder if he'd be up to sharing himself.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

Tubby is up for sharing himself with everybody! He loves attention so much and just wants to be in the middle of things all the time - can't miss a thing you know.

Thanks so much everyone. He is my big baby boy, and you guys are the best. Unfortunately I've got a busy week this week, but I'm going to work my butt off this morning so hopefully I get around to dealing with pictures this afternoon, then hopefully the whole adventure weekend story can be up by tomorrow - just in time for another one! (adventure weekend that is)
