Happy Birthday to my Sadie

Today is Sadie's 12th birthday. To celebrate this year I took a few days off work to go hiking in Vermont with her. Since I know 12 is old for a dog I want to spend as much time with her doing her favorite things as long as she still has the energy. Once we're on a trail all the sounds of nature make her as excited as a puppy again.

And, just to embarrass her a little, this is where Sadie goes when it thunders - my closet. She is in this picture - at least her nose is!




ps - so no one worries - Sadie wears a glow in the dark safety orange harness and collar for hiking. I took it off for pictures (if light hits it, it glows!).
