Tomorrow is my QME exam. What happens is some workers comp doctors rate my shoulder injury. I want it to be enough for me to get a decent settlement but not to much because then they'll say that I can't do my job.
I just found out that I will not be winning my grievance about my shoulder surgury last year. So that basically means that I have a 45 day unexcused and unpaid absence on my attendance record. So of course, I am hoping I'll get a settlement that'll make me a little less bitter.![]()
Yeah, I can probably get a lawyer and sue the pants off the company...But it's not worth the trouble. My 45 day absence will fall off of my record in September and 45 days pay wouldn't even cover the lawyer fees.
