A good sleep requires the paw over the nose!

This is the kitty's favorite spot. Not so sure it is good for the stereo equipment!

A sleeping cat in your house depicts an aura of calm - if a cat can sleep here, it is a warm and loving place.

My favorite pose is the "curled"...or what I have dubbed the Kitty Tortelini pose (Leah's kitty is a classic example)

    ahhhh...so calming

I can never catch Kylie sleepin!
But I do have a cute story.
I was sitting on the bed and she was sleeping beside me and was on her back and she started twittering and making this noise like she was nursing. I reached over and scratched under her chin and she rubbed against my hand.
    It was so cute!

I have a ton of sleeping kitty pictures. But this one of Pippi is my favorite. She was acually grooming herself and decided to take a nap. Grooming IS hard work

Libracats, isn't it amazing how they can just fall asleep in the middle of an activity?

When Ritz was a kitten she would get into these playing jags, running through the house and then jumping head first into one of our jogging shoes..we walked into the living room and saw her jump into a shoe and then just go suddenly limp!

Thinking she was hurt, we carefully went to get her out of the shoe only to find she had just simply fallen asleep in there.

Now, whenever we are just really exhausted and feel like we just can't wait to get to sleep, we refer to it as being "Kitty in the shoe tired"
