I'm sorry I don't have a picture yet, but I thought you would enjoy knowing that Mimi stalked a turtle in our front yard today!!
Helen and I went out to breakfast, and Mimi was outside. When we returned, we could tell she was really looking at something. It was a turtle (have no idea what kind) and he was just strolling though the flower bed. I got pictures and will post them as soon as they are developed!! It was fun to watch. We sat there for at least 30 minutes. Mimi lost interest very quickly and was no threat to the turtle.

I had a similar kind of thing happen. Several years ago my son had an iguana in a cage in the basement. That is also the cats' domain because their food and litter boxes are down there. One day I came down to feed them and scoop and I found Trevor standing on the floor next to the iguana who had somehow gotten out of his cage. We still have no idea how he did it! Trev just seemed very interested and fortunately didn't attempt to play with him like he does to the occasional cricket down there because the crickets usually end up dead! Fortunately for your turtle too he has his "house" on top of him!
