    Anyone Remeber Us? (Pictures)

HI Everyone!!!! It's Bob and Joey and Catdad.

Surprise, we did not drop off the face of the planet. Sorry I was gone for so long.

What have I been doing, you ask. Well, I was working a lot, no surprise there. However, the last two and half weeks I was on vacation. It was really fun but not really exciting. I went to visit relatives in Minnesota with my dad. To answer your unasked question, yes it does take two weeks to do that, I have a lot of relatives. My dad is one of seven kids and my mom is one of six kids, so in aunts and uncles alone there is a lot. Actually if I wanted to visit everyone it would take more time. We had a great time and it was really nice to see everyone. Well enough about me for the moment, I am sure that I will have more to say later.

I also promise to come back more often for a while, it may not be as much as I would like too. However it will be more then once a month.

I have not had a chance to read back through any of the old posts yet, so I hope everyone is doing well. However, I did notice that we have some new people, so hi to you all since I missed when you joined.

Ok, on to the important part, Bob and Joey. Both are doing really well and Bob has forgiven me for being away for so long, but Joey is still a little miffed.

Joey is doing great. For those of you that remember her issues from earlier, she seems to be doing really with the new food that we switched to. She is still shy and skittish, more so right now since I was gone. She probably thought I had left her, poor thing. However, I think that she will get better after I have been home for a while. Does anyone know how long it takes fur to grow back completely? I swear I can still tell were she was shaved from her ultrasound last year.

Bob is also doing really well. He is still the laid back kitty that he has always been. The only back thing is that he gaining weight and now is at about 18.5 pounds. We still have to work on his treat intake. Bob also wanted me to let you know that he is not happy that I have not been posting any pictures of him he really likes all of the attention.

I have rambled long enough and it is now time for the really important part of the post pictures.

Pictures will be in the next post I have put too many similes in this one.
    Bob & Joey,
and their happy and willing slave, Bryan.

Many Thanks to Kay for the Picture.

    Pictures!!!!!

These were all taking in the past month or so.

First we have Bob trying to decide which mouse to play with:

The green mouse won (it was closer):

Bob decided that I needed help with the laundry, so he jumped right in:

Now that is a happy kitty:

Here we have Bob cuddling with one of his bear friends:

Of course we have the obligatory belly shot:

Wait, there’s more in the next one.
    Bob & Joey,
and their happy and willing slave, Bryan.

Many Thanks to Kay for the Picture.

Last of the pictures for the moment.

Now we have a couple of Joey:

Here we have Joey relaxing after a long grooming session with the brush:

Joey is making herself comfy in one of the Bob spots:

Do you mind we are trying to sleep here:

This is something that I did not think that I would ever see. However I was really happy about it. Here they are sharing the cat tree that I made for them:

I think that Joey likes to be on PT too. She actually came out of the closet to supervise this post.

Well, that is it for now, I hope you enjoyed them. I will be back later.
    Bob & Joey,
and their happy and willing slave, Bryan.

Many Thanks to Kay for the Picture.

Hi!! I was just thinking about you the other day, whilst I was lamenting the fact that there weren’t enough Maine Coon tabby types on PT lately. Rizzo says howdy! (and so does Barliman, but I think in his heart of hearts, he thinks that there is at least one too many Maine Coon tabby types in the world!)

Your two look wonderful. I love the snuggling picture!

It’s a great time of year to visit MN, isn’t it? Both of my folks are from there, most of my relatives live there, and when I was a child, we went there for at least a week most summers. It’s still my favorite place in the whole entire world. I love the cornfields and the SKY and the little bitty towns and the air that is soooooo much better than the air around here. And the Twins!! *nostalgic happy sighs*

I think I'm new since you last posted. Hello!!! You have gorgeous cats. Mine are below, Wilber and Oreo (Oreo is the black and white one, lol).

I'm glad you had a nice time on your trip. Sounds like it was well deserved.

Welcome back! Hopefully you'll be able to be back more often now, but for now it was wonderful to see Bob and Joey again! I think she's miffed because you haven't been showing her off on PT, not because you went away and left her for two weeks.

I love that grooming brush post thing in the pic with Joey! Where did you get it? I think Peanut would really enjoy that too.

Thanks for stopping by, we've missed you and B & J.

I think I signed up after you last posted too! I've only got one kitty, Mr Remus and he is in my siggy. You have a pair of pretty kitties you do! Tummy rubs and head scritches for them both. Welcome back!

I love the picture of Joey asleep on the brush. We have one of those, and our 3 think it makes a pretty good bed, too.

Hi Bryan and welcome back! It's been waaaayyy too long. Thanks for the pics and the update. Bob and Joey look as cute as ever!

Thanks everyone. I am happy to be back. I know it had been waaaaay too long.

Twink I am happy to hear that Rizzo and Barliman are doing well. Give them both a scartch for me. I like MN too and it is a very nice place, I lived there until I was about 5 or 6 and we always went back for visits after that. I even worked on a farm up by Little Falls for a few summers in my early teens. However, it is a little too hot and humid for me now. I have been spoiled by Seattle weather. However, I still enjoy going back.

T&P I think you may be right about Joey. Since I posted she has come out of the closet and has been hanging out with me in the family room. Yesterday she spent most of the day in the closet. I think I got the brush at Fred Myers, that is one of the local department stores. However, I believe that I have seen them at petco or petsmart too. I will find the name and PM you. Bob and Joey both like it for a good face brushing. Bob won't walk through it, but Joey will every now and then.

Welcome to CatMama78 and DJFyrewolf36! I think I have seen some of your post, when I was able to take a quick peek a while back. Anyway, I know it is late, but I am happy that you are here.

Hi to prechrswife, AmberLee and slick. Yes slick it has been a while.

kimlovescats I am glad to hear from you and I will be back on a regular basis.

Hi aki, give chuck some scratches for me. I appreciate the heads up on my birthday celebration. I will look for the thread.

Hi Willie, I am happy to see that you are still around, and I will be around also.

Hi Lorraine, I finally got around to posting. Sorry it took me a couple of days, but there was more then I tought to catch up on after being gone.

Anyway, I think that is everyone. Sorry if I missed someone, believe me it was not on purpose.

I am glad you all liked the pictures, and I promise to post more soon.
    Bob & Joey,
and their happy and willing slave, Bryan.

Many Thanks to Kay for the Picture.
