Gary, I think I would have been mad too! Luckily for me, Ebbys collar is a kind of breakaway type and can still be used. And Ebby says thanks for the compliment!

Thanks, Debbie. Believe it or not it's not that easy to get pictures nowadays! She used to pose quite happily but most times now she will look away from the camera. But, as you can see, I get lucky and catch her in a good mood now and again!

Chris I need to get you to come take pictures of Jazz. Those are great pictures!!! It is so hard to photograph a black cat but you get all the details. Maybe you could give me a few pointers in lighting. Jazz doesn't like the camera either. As soon as she sees it she turns her head or walks away.

Somebody was feeling photogenic!!! What a beautiful bunch of photos of a beautiful balck cat! Ebby... Pouncer has the same ability to slip out of colars too! I don't even try to make him wear one anymore.

Eby is such a pretty girl and I love the red collar on her. The window picture is my favorite, so pretty. She reminds me of my Lucki and Blackie. I've always loved black cats.

Lori, I think the best pictures of Ebby are taken with plenty of daylight falling on her. And my bedroom having white walls with the bed close to the window helps! In 'her' room and elsewhere it's more difficult, and I do use the same principle, and sometimes the 'cloudy' feature on the camera - but that can make reddish/brown tinge to the pictures, as in a few above. So I guess most of the time any good picture is a result of luck not judgement!
