I love three day weekends, but they make going back to work soooo much harder

As an old farmer once said, the thing about working seven days a week is you never have to dread Monday meaning going back to work.

Puts things in perspective, huh? When I was a kid, I once asked my Dad about how farmers go on vacation, and he said "They don't! You cannot tell a cow 'Sorry, not gonna milk you for a week because I want a break,' or you wouldn't have any cows left!"

Oh believe me I'm very grateful to have my job. Especially when I think about how high the unemployment rate is right now I still don't want to get up early and go to work, but I never take for granted the fact that I have a job, can pay my bills (and get a regular two day weekend)

I have school again this morning in about 40 minutes - I've had 3 weeks off! All that time off makes it harder to go back, and to make things worse, my class this session is college algebra. Should be a fun (not!) three weeks.

Well, I dragged my butt in here this morning. I haven't gotten much done though! I was nearly late, I'm not used to having to "dress" a child in the morning and he was fighting with me about it. I think he's tired of the t shirts. Only eight more days of wearing it to go!
