    Lets see those TAILS!

Since the whisker thread was so much fun I thought we should try tails. The whiskers turned out to be so interesting and so many unique shapes that I figure tails have to be the same way.

Here are the ten tails of my house.

    Peanut Butter

    Stubby

    Lucky

    Leroy

Sammy's skinny tail that he swings around like a whip!

    Pete

My two favorite tails in the house belong to Maggie Sue and Pervy

    Maggie Sue's orange tipped tail

Pervy's soft as velvet bushy tail

The longest tail in my house goe to Pepper Jack

And without a doubt the shortest tail I have ever seen goes to Mr. Magoo.

Ok folks, lets see some more tail!!!

    OOOH! Such lovely kitty tails!

My boys both have skinny little whip tails, just like your Sammy. Don't have any pics yet, but hope to get that together soon.

Out of your bunch, my vote for most beautiful tail goes to...umm, well it's a tie. Maggie Sue and Pervy have magnificent tails! I just want to reach into my monitor and pet them. Two tails up!

Since my camera is currently sick (again) I'll have to post old photos showing their tails

Allen's Tail is LONG and thick at the base, but tapers to relatively thin.

Pouncer's tail is never still... always swishing back and forth. Its very thin and long. (and no, I didn't pull his tail straight for the photo! )

Here's Allen's Mommy, Petunia. He's inherited her long tail. He holds his like her too!

Awww! Wilber's tail is thin and medium length and it swishes a lot, while Ori's is also thin and medium and it twitches a lot at the tip

    I love those floofy tails

    I LOVE this place!
Ok - now down to SERIOUS business!
First we have Princess Emily - her tail is solid black and very graceful, regal, elegant and girlie

Eliot's tail - can't see it well here but is circles with rings of grey and black. Both he and Emily have a tail that bends at the end sometimes - the vet says it indicates they have some meezer in them?? (That and the shape of their faces which are triangular)

Dylan has a plume like tail and he carries it upright often - very thick and two toned - peachy inside and almost reddish at the tips and and very end is almost white. He wraps it around himself like a blanket when he sleeps.

    OK - more tails!!!

I don't have any closeups of their tails but you get the idea.

    Here's Ripley's semi-fluffy tail.

Here's Jazz with her question mark tail - she always carries it up in that shape.

Here is Scout's little ringed tail.

Here's the one and only shot of all three of my kitties together and you can see their different sized tails well.

Excuse the wallpaper - I was trying to pick one out for the dining room.

Here's a picture of the new wallpaper up.

Had to show my hard work too.

Mishi's plume laying flat - his tail is always carried straight up with a little curve at the end and is extremely difficult to get a pic of because he's always moving!

A tale of two tails - although you can't tell too well from these pics, Mitzi's tail is a lot shorter than Mishi's:

Debbie, Lisa and Willie - thanks for the compliments on the dining room. Hubby and I did it last fall along with the living room which is open to the dining room. We painted it gold. We even put in new carpet ourselves.

Our next project is the entryway and hall. I just picked out the new flooring and paint color last night.

Sorry to get off the subject so I'll show a cat picture. Here is Ripley enjoying the new living room furniture as soon as it was delivered last fall.

    This is so much fun!!!

    Here is Tigger's

I don't have any pictures of Smokey's or Tucker's tail

But I do have one of Mystic. She has the shortest, stubbiest tail of all of mine.

Then of course there is Abner's. His tail has an attitude of it's own. I find that when he sleeps with me...most of the time I sleep on his tail because it is so long.

    Smokey, Mystic, Abner

Consider adopting a special needs pet, they deserve a chance too!
