Nothing is sacred when you have a cat

Well, I have been trying to tidy up a bit before Barbara and Siegmar arrive from being with Edwina's Secretary et al....and what a difficult time I am having here.

Cats everywhere. I clean a table top and they sit on it. I wash and dry a blanket, they sit on it. I am finding dry cat food in places where I had just cleaned! I dare not do glass top tables until about 2 minutes before they arrive. Maybe I will make them sit in the car while I do my last minute glass cleaning!

I thought children were messy, but cats take the cake, for sure!

I hope the weather cooperates and gives Barbara and Siegmar lots of fun in the sun! Today is overcast and cloudy and tomorrow is to be the same, but, but, but, the rest of the week is going to be sunny! Yea. We have had so much rain here! The sun, yea!

I promise to take photos during this special visit......

Yes they are, without a doubt! You are one of those wonderful people!

Cleaning with cats is virtually impossible. Either they want to help or immediately want to inspect what you just did! I love the comment about keeping them in the car! Good idea excpet they would probably figure out how to drive away. Can you imagine that police report!
One good thing about having PT visitors is they truly understand the hair that is everywhere!

We will anxiously await the stories and pictures of the visit. I'm sure you all will have a wonderful time. Keep shining Mr. Sun!!!

    Are they there yet?
Tell your Aby girls I said they should be on their best behavior when company comes. They just might get some presents!
I will be seeing you all tomorrow!

Yes she is! I have been one of the lucky ones who got to meet Sallyanne in person a couple of years ago when she became a furmommy to that bad boy Gabe. I only wish I could be with you all during Barbara and Siegmar's visit but I am too timid to make that long drive.

Have fun and please take LOTS of pictures!

Oh Sallyanne, you have something to look forward to, and I can assure you that Barbara will be too busy saying Hello to her favourite Miley to notice any dustbunnies. And you can bet that Siegmar will be cuddling with Juni Rose in no time. They'll feel so at home!

I'm glad the weather looks promising for their stay. Have a fun time together - we'll be looking for reports!

My cats don't understand why, after they've gone and gotten the place just to their liking, I go and mess it all up again by dusting, vacuuming and picking things up. And why i have to take out the masking tape and get the cat hair of the furniture, they'll never understand! I swear, they just tolerate me as an annoying boarder. I just pay rent so they have somewhere to live. hehehe

Sallyanne exaggerated- as I'm sure you know. The three Abys don't shed as much as some kitties back in Germany, so the only bunny around is Cinnamon- no dust bunnies

I think they are rather friendlier than mine and are not more often on the counter top.

Tomroow we have to leave for our Maine round trip but we'll be back one day before flying off. So we don't have to say goodbye to our favorite local kitties right now

It's like I tell all my friends who always seem to feel the need to apologize for a messy home.( I don't know why this is because at my house we don't have time to vacuum, at least not until the carpet is resembling that of Cashmir or Angora!)... "I am Not here to see your house. I AM here to see YOU and the FURRY KIDS. I don't care if the house is dirty." Glad you all had a great time.

Ah yes, cleaning with cats is always an...interesting experience.

My boys love to jump up on the bathroom sink, and after I clean the bathroom, they have to jump up there, walk all over the edge of the sink and bathtub and of course on the toilet lid. Little pawprints everywhere! What can you do?

Many thanks to Kay for the fabulous sig!

Yes: nothing is sacred. Tigris just kicked a glass bottle with red grape juice from the counter

First thing after we came home.

    Tigris we love you. Unconditionally

Oh Tigris!! I bet you're so exited you don't know what paw to stand on. Now you have your mommy crawling on the the floor for you.

Barbara, isn't it just wonderful to be back with them!
