Shade Panels

Today was Livvy's "spa day". She got brushed for almost a half an hour (she had a lot of fur to remove), got a wipe bath ( I LOVE those things!) a clean, new collar and a pedicure.

I found these really neat shade panels. Has anyone ever seen or heard of these?

I'd love to get the 7x10 to put over her enclosure for during the summer. Right now we have a large, blue tarp that works, but these things are supposed to reflect the sun to cool the area down. Plus, they are mesh, so the air comes in too.

What do you think??

Livvy looks super-shiny after her spa day!! And her pink collar is the perfect colour! Nosekissies for the pretty girl!

That shade cloth looks great. I've never seen that before (you would think with the temperatures here someone would have inported this stuff)

I think what you are doing for Livvy is just wonderful!! It's obvious how much you care about her!! It's also obvious how happy she is! As dear old Dad would say, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!!!"

I think those panels will work perfectly. I've seen something similar to them in an animal supply catalog. Go for it! And keep on doing what you're doing girl!! You ROCK!

The panels look and sound like a good idea! Also, Livvy is looking good after her spa-day I bet she is the envy of the other kitties!! "I want my own condo, too!!!!"

She is! When we go out there, everyone lines up at the screen or the windows and watches intently. Basie and Noel cry and cry...they're the abused ones, you know.

The only reason you do not see Basie and Noel in there is because they were both outside with Livvy and I.

I want to know if you will adopt me?! You have done so much for Livvy and she is without a doubt one very lucky girl!! I can't imagine anyone going to the extremes you have gone to for that sweetie!! I think the screens look great!!

*Ditto*.... great job! I really almost wish we had built our enclosure outside instead in our garage, so that they could have the fresh air and sunshine all the time!!! But getting hubby to build another one ... well, I've hinted ... but it hasn't sunk in yet!!!

While we're "redecorating" Livvy's condo, we're going to put curtains up!!

That way she can have them open when its nice out and closed when its windy or cold.

I think we're also going to give her a larger litter box and I'm going to plant some cat grass and catnip in there for her.
