Tori Went To The Vet

Tori went to the vet yesterday. She is up to date on all her shots and the vet gave her the all clear to go to the Findlay dog park. That little girl was a terror yesterday though. Boy, did she do a lot of screaming. Thats what I call it anyway...lol. She makes the funniest noises. She wanted to go up to every person and dog that came by and just whined like crazy because we wouldn't let her. She is LOUD! She didn't make a sound when she got her shots though. She just had a fit because she had to be picked up and put on the table. She is weighing in at 30 pounds!

I haven't been on lately so I know I have a lot of catching up to do. I hope everyone and all the furkids are doing well. I'm off to work now and then we're are going the see Shania Twain tonite and then Brandon and his band are playing in Portsmouth on Saturday. I'll try and catch up with all the furkids after the weekend.

OMG...We also would love to see Alan and Martina!!! I looked and they are not coming here. I love Alan Jackson and Martina has got to be about the highest up there for me...what a little powerhouse she is...that voice..wow! I had Alan Jackson tickets last August but I wound up having my second surgery 3 days before the concert. I was determined I was still going to go but the pain was too bad so I gave the tickets to my girlfriend. She hated the reason why I was giving them to her but she sure did have fun. She said he was AWESOME!

Thanks, Kay. Can't wait to see you and your crew also. I have to tell ya though I'm a bit nervous about handling these girls by myself. Are you prepared to help me?....lol They are so ROWDY and I'm not for sure how they will be around all the other dogs. I'm keeping my fingers crossed! If it doesn't work out that will be ok, we will just have to make it a short visit. At least they ride well in the car though. That is one good thing.

I'm sure we'll have fun tonite and I always like watching Brandon perform but I get nervous for him. We went and watched them rehearse last night and they sound pretty good. I can't wait to see him up on stage. Did you ever get any of their songs? If you did you can be honest and tell me the truth about what you thought. Trust me, I would love to hear an honest opinion.

I never got to hear them. I got the e-mail saying you sent the songs out, but not the actual e-mail with the songs.
I'm sure they're great though.

Robin, I have never heard Alan Jackson in concert before, but I have had the great opportunity to see Martina, twice, before. The first time was a special concert at the Grand Ole Opry, where she did a private concert for a convention I was attending. OMG!!! I fell in love with her music, then, although I new nothing about her at the time. Been a fan, every since then!!!! Helen and I saw her again a couple of years ago, when she was on that "Girls Night Out" tour with Reba McIntire, Sara Evans and Jamie O'Neil. What a great concert!!!! I know I would love to see Alan and Martina on the same stage, but it isn't meant to be. In fact, Scott called me from out of town the other day, and said he had his finger on the "send" button to get tickets for Helen and me, but he forgot that Helen had to go away, tonight, for her Confirmation Class retreat. I didn't even tell her, fearing that she would say "I can stay at home". It would have been fun to hear them live, but we'll just listen to CDs instead!! And we'll save lots of money!!! Ha Ha!!!

Oh, it's not over! It's just begining. When we first got Raven, one my neighbors, who is about a mile away called to ask what I was doing to that dog! Took me months to convince him that the screaming her is her happy sound!!
