Last night it happened that I saw the song performed on tv that has always reminded me of Luna. It's been in the charts here in Germany in the summer of 2000 when I got the little innocent Luna baby and when she brought the first beams of light back into my life when all was dark and grey from mourning over Katz.

It's a song by the German band Orange Blue and when I first heard the refrain, I immediately had to think of Luna who was the sweetest little baby kitten at that time:

"She's got that light around her eyes
A gleaming star surrounds her mind
Shes got that smile imbued with soul
I need her hand, [well, "paw" would be better here]
cause shes my home"

For Katz, I even have an entire cd with special "Katz Songs", and each and everyone of them was very important and helpful for me during the weeks following her passing. The one with the most beautiful lyrics is by another German band called Bell Book & Candle. It's sad but a great comfort as well:

See Ya

come into my heart
can you feel my desperation deep inside
come into my soul
can you see me - here I'm far away from you

see ya - be sensible and let me go
see ya - you'll stay my soulmate although
you should say good bye
for now say good bye

you know these rainy days of our lives
we can make it if we try
you know I will be right by your side
one day we will meet in another life

come into my heart
I'm searchin' you so desperately forever more
come into my soul
so must I put up with this cruel infinity

see ya - be sensible and let me go
see ya - you'll stay my soulmate although
you should say good bye
for now say good bye.

you know these rainy days of our lives
we can make it if we try
you know I will be right by your side
one day we will meet in another life

Now I'm curious if anyone else has some special poems or songs in memory of our feline friends.
