I just got back from a ceremony for my mom. She's had the guidance building from which she worked for many long years, named after her. I'm so proud of her and wanted to publicly let her know. The ceremony was also for a man who was coach there. He had the gym named after him. However, his family wasn't as lucky because he passed away in 2000. So when one of the speakers mentioned the fact that my mom was here to celebrate, I said thanks to God for that and wished her many more happy years here on this earth. She started crying while making her speech and that got me going. I had to tell her to stop that. It was very emotional and I got a lot of good pics with her friends, too. Got some pics of the school. One of the women speakers called her the Mother Teresa of our county. She also said something about queen bee and something about a bomb. I sure wish I'd written it all down because now I can't remember. Anyway, just wanted everyone to know how proud I am of my wonderful mom.
