A few Tasha and Tommy pics

Well, I have been up to my eyeballs in various projects and goings on lately, and I know I have been pretty quiet on Pet Talk. I actually just haven't had time to visit and post much due to so much going on with me. But I took a few pics of the pups outside today and the day and the dogs were so beautiful I just wanted to share them. The first couple are actually from another evening when I took pics of them relaxing with me while I read a book. Enjoy





The rest are from when we were out in the yard earlier today. First both the pups:

I was wondering where you've been, T&T! And Jess, too of course Great pics Jess! Tommy, you look soooo beautiful! You are truly poetry in motion! Your coat looks so lush and shiney! Seeing you running about, having such fun, put a big smile on my face! Tasha baby girl, you're such a sweetheart! They look like they are having fun! Tommy's coat is so silky looking. Does it feel as good as it looks? That last picture of Tasha is gorgeous! You were right to not resize it - it's perfect!

Beautiful pictures. Tommy looks like a super model! You have a gorgeous lawn also.

Huey has a kiddie pool just like that. Do they go in it? He doesn't, maybe it's too much like a bath tub. He loves to run in ponds, creeks, etc. but he won't go in the pool.

Sandra I posted a few pics of our gardening efforts in general. I sure can relate to this busy time of year . My nephew also got married last weekend and my brother-in-law was up from North Carolina for a week.

Robin, Tommy's coat is very soft and lovely to touch, and he loves for it to be touched too, as often and for as long as possible!

Andiphant, Tommy will get in sometimes and splash around but he hasn't laid down in it like I've seen some retrievers do. Tasha just treats it as a huge watering hole and she just loves to drink from it. Sometimes in the summer she will want to go out just to drink from the pool.. even with a big fresh bowl of water inside.

Oh where do I start to tell you how much I enjoyed these pictures! I can totally understand why you didn't want to re-size Tasha's last picture. It is so precious I can't stand it! Tommy is gorgeous and the one of him with his tail blowing in the breeze is just awesome. I would love to give that boy lots and lots of cuddles! Your lawn is gorgeous as ever, and I did visit your garden pictures too! Everything is just gorgeous! I have spent today working outside also. We have some woods behind us, which is our property, but which has been left "au naturale" (sp?). Anyway, I have been cleaning out brush and raking, etc., etc. and am pooped. Just took a quick shower and checked for ticks on me and the dogs and so far so good. I hate those things. Sorry to digress!

Well, it's been way too long! And my two favorite pics are the one of Tommy almost in his pointing position. That's a great pic! And Tasha's last one looking up at you. She's such a sweet dog. I love her multi colored tail and her doe eyes. They seem like they can look right to your soul.

hey k9soul! Love your gorgeous duo!!! I had to laugh at Tommy with the "Log". We recently took Oz and Murph hiking and we sent Oz off to find a "Stick". He came back with this "Twig" and the first thing I thought of was Tommy and that he'd have probably brought back a tree trunk vs that sad lil' "Twig".
