    Thanks for the link to the "Nov 2001 article" Richard. Even though it made me sick, it was informative. A certain faith thinks suffering is the way to god.(?) To get with the subject, cats are considered to be associated with the devil.(calicos included.) Given time, I'm sure cat ownership in the U.S. will be considered a sin and be banned by the church.
    In the middle ages they were killed by suspersitious people. After all the cats were killed, everyone died of the plaque. So, using this moron logic, are we to assume that the devil made these middle age people kill their only friend the cat so that the rats who carried the disease would be free to roam and contaminate the countryside?..
