    Kia's going to be on TV!

    *May 12th edit*

    Kia's TV segment aires this weekend!!!!

    Sunday at 11 p.m. and again on Monday morning between 5 and 7 a.m.

    How exciting!!

    I first mentioned this in the General forum in the thread 15 Minutes of Fame.

    A news station in Grand Rapids, MI is doing a news story about ProHeart6.

    The reporter, Trisha, just called again today and they are coming out to my apartment at 7 a.m. Monday, April 26th to do a live interview with me and of course Kia.

    Heartworm season is approaching so please, research all the available options.

    That is great, Kimmy! I am glad the story is going to air and maybe bring some awareness to the issue.

    Drake used to be on Proheart for 3 years. It suited him fine. We are using Heartguard now.

    Oh I know!

    Sammy's before and after picture is just heartbreaking. I hear he is just now starting to grow his normal color hair back in some spots.

    Kia is among the lucky ones, isn't she? Makes me sad that something that should be so good has had such an ill effect on so many.

    Plan Ahead ~

    Hey Kia ~

    Ask Mom do do a lil Advance Planning -
    and the TV Folks might give you guys a Video of the Show!

    Things that ALWAYS go over well with a TV Crew =

    Kawfee & DoNutz (especially at 7 AM on a Monday!)

    Have Mom wear a *nice* outfit -
    with colors that won't *blend in* with the walls and furniture
    in the 'partment.
    Ya mite call Trisha and ASK what she'd suggest.

    Prolly NOT a problem in YOUR Howze (MAJOR problem in OURS ) -
    but have the room *tidy* & neat!

    Have your Favorite TOY handy - so they can *attract yur attenshun*
    an get you to *look atta camera*.

    An tell Mom to NOT to *look atta camera*!
    Dat usually makes da Hoomin all *nerbus* & *jittery*!
    Often the Reporter will stand beside the Camera Person - and they
    usually suggest the subject look AT the Reporter and NOT directly into
    the camera. Looks very "natural" that way.
    If you "talk to" the reporter; you'll forget about the camera!

    Make some *notes* of what points YOU would like to cover in the
    interview. Go over them with Trisha before the camera rolls.
    Or she may TELL you in advance what she will be asking...
    a good reporter will do a dry or practice run-through with you.

    And when you're done;
    be sure to ASK FOR a Video Copy of the final, edited program!
    Sometimes they'll even include all the rough footage they took -
    the *out takes* can be *interesting*!

    Don't Furget - *SMILE*!

    Coffee and donuts. Great idea!

    I'm not sure if they are going to be filming inside. My apartment is so cramped. Trisha mentioned if the weather was nice, we'd take it outside.
