Avon Escaped Last Night
I was going to dump garbage and opened the front door, hands were full and Avon ran right out front between my legs. I panicked, dropped the garbage and screamed for Kevin. She headed right up the palm tree, I ran after her, and she ran down and behind some bushes. I tried grabbing her only for her to dart out again. Finally I got her by the scruff of the neck and got her back inside....whew....What a jolt!
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers
