We do have some yardwork to do, but we only mulch in the front yard, where the dogs don't go unless they are on a leash, with one of us on the other end!!
It's pointless to put mulch out back anyway--with all of the chases and games of doggie tag that go on, it ends up everywhere!!!!

We have always just used pine mulch, but thanks for the link. It's always best to know these things just in case!
