Explaining the pic of Dale laying next to Christian in the car (that my mom posted)...we don't have the money right now to buy an SUV, b/c we are buying a new house, and Dale is starting to out- grow our car, when Christian is in the car too, in his car seat...so we fold down the other seat in the back...so Dale can lay down comfortablely, with half of him the trunk and half on the seat...we put his dog bed under the part of him in the trunk, so he is comfy Anyway, it works until we have money for a SUV

That's exactly what I'm going to do with my car. In my case I wanted to go with more of a sporty looking car than a practical car, so I wll just keep the back seats down and let them have the whole back area to ride in.

Dale is such a big boy now! I love the pic where both of them are under the table. And there is nothing wrong of your creative way of seating the pup and your son. Creativity is a good thing. As long as they are comfortable, that's cool.

........... and then we would have a pic of Dale and the ironing board FLAT ON THE FLOOR!!!!!
