    A dozen puppies!!

We have been doing some spring cleaning around here and I came across these pictures that I thought would be fun to show.

First let me explain how we came to have 12 puppies. A few years ago, some friends in Tampa where moving into their new home, but had a few months in between where they had to rent and could not take their Ashley with them. So we said we would take care of her. The problem started the day they droped her off.....SHE WAS IN HEAT!! We did our best to keep Tuffy away from her, but we failed.

So this is what became of it.

Our screen porch became puppy world.

2 or 3 times a day, I had to change newpaper. I was going to eveyone I knew just to get their old papers. Between puppy pee, spilled water bowls and food bowls, it was a full time job.

This is just one of the pups, we called him Tuffy jr..

We where lucky and found homes for all 12 and Ashley finaly moved into her new home.

    Oppps forget one.

Wow, that is quite a litter

I hope your friend got her spayed after this though. Glad the pups all got homes. They are of course totally adorable.

Yes we do get to see a few of them now and again. The Mayor of our town has 2 of them and we see them alot. Then there's one couple that e-mailed me a picture or 2 of the one they got all grown up.

Now here come the odd thing about all this. Awhile back ago, my husband came home with Rocky that he got from a man who could not care for him anymore. Well after seeing these old pictures, we are wondering now if maybe Rocky was one of our puppies. We didn't give one to this man, but who knows.

Check out the 2 white ones in the picture and then look at Rocky now. One of those puppies could be Rocky?? I just can't remember if those puppies where male or female. Rocky would be about the right age to be one of them.

    Now Rocky.

If Rocky is one he hates his daddy. lol

There is definitely a lot of similarity between Rocky and the puppies. I can see two spots on Rocky's tail, and so I was looking for a puppy that had them in the same spot.

If you look at the puppy below that is kind of hidden next to his mom with the two brown spots on the base of his tail...

...and then you compare the placement of the spots with this picture of Rocky, I definitely see a lot of similarity.

Too bad you don't have a full body shot of the puppies...

OMG I didn't even notice those spots in the picture. The other one has two spots too, but I think those are to far apart.

I think it might just be Rocky. WOW. Thats would be something. I guess maybe Rocky doesn't have S.B. in him, he has Boxer.

The only thing is Rocky has lots of very very small brown spots all over him and I don't remember any of the pups with them, but that was almost 4 years ago.

Well it is a small town, so it could be Rocky has come home again.

They were so cute! I think Rocky might be one of them. That would really be something, wouldn't it? I'll bet you were really busy trying to keep all those pups happy.

REALLY BUSY!! plus the timing was bad, my mother-in-law was on life support in Tampa so between driving back and forth to Tampa and Puppies, I was a zombie woman.

OMG! How odd is that???? I would say that fate has given you back one of your puppies. Seeing all those puppies gives me the warm and fuzzies!
