    Mascots

    The school that my sister works at is expanding. They are building new buildings and getting rid of the portables. They are changing the name of the school form "Southland Christian School" to "Southland Christian Academy". They also want to change the colors and mascot. Right now the colors are red and black, and the mascot is flames. Kind of stupid of a christian school, I'm not sure who came up with that.

    I was wondering what your school colors and mascot was/is, or if you have any good suggestions.

    Here are some suggestions from some of my schools through the years:

    Orange/White - Longhorns
    Red/Green - Highlanders
    Red/White - Rockets
    Green/White - Chargers
    Red/White - Owls
    Maroon/Yellow - Bobcats
    Maroon/Grey - Rebels
    White/Red - Raiders
    Alyson
    Shiloh, Reece, Lolly, Skylar
    and fosters Snickers, Missy, Magic, Merlin, Maya

    We are the Warhawks And our colors are blue (kind of a sky blue) and silver/white
    Dayna, Alex, Phoebe, Cleo, Rolo, Scooter, & Holly

    Black/Teal- Rattlers...that's what we are.

    But for a christian school, I like navy blue and silver colors with an owl, or some kind of less intimidating animal for a mascot.

    Yes, Sponge Divers. We were on David Letterman's top Ten for stupidest school mascots.


    Elementary - Red & white, Seahawks.
    Middle School - Black and Yellow, Pathers.

    Our local high school is the Pirates and colors are red & white.

    My school was the Fighting Farmers (ugh) and colors were maroon & white.

    These have been mine throughout my school years:

    blue/white - Quasars (what kind of elementary school kid knows what the Heck a 'quasar' is?!)
    red/yellow - Firebirds
    black/red - Trojans (they changed it to Falcons this year).
    Gold/black - Owls (I hate being an owl lol).
    I've been BOO'd!

    My mascot was the EAGLE! Our school colors were black and orange.

    a mascot? umm its like like a symbol for the football team. Some schools have people dress up in costumes as them.

    Yes actually, I did. I see you're from TX, too. I live in Wylie now, which is north of Garland (if you knwo where that is, lol)

    Yes I know where Garland is (and Wylie lol)

    I used to go to Lewisville until 2 years ago, then we moved to Corinth (Just off the Lewisville Bridge)
