    Sammy has grown his first winter mane!

    Last year, at this time, Sammy was just a little guy, and he wasn't too furry, but this year, he has a fluffy mane.

    All I can say is, WOW!!!

    Put him in a little red suit, and he could be kitty claus. Not saying anything about your weight there Sammy.

    I for one would love to see more of his great looking mane.

    In another thread we were discussing this. I have just read in a cat breed book that this "winter mane" thing is a characteristic of Norwegian Forest Cats. Maine Coones don't normally get this, so it'll be interesting to see if it occurs in Ragdolls. I'm thinking it won't because it hasn't happened in my mom's Ragdoll, but he's a real morphidite anyway.
