    Dog Show pics....

    I went to a dog show today and managed to snap a few pics. They're not that great because the lighting in that building is not the greatest. But oh well...

    A couple of chihuahuas



    A black standard poodle



    A silver standard poodle



    An apricot miniature poodle



    A papillon



    A couple of bull terriers...



    Now the rest of the pics in the next post are all for Twisterdog....

    Yep you gussed it....smooth fox terrorists....um I mean terriers








    This boy was the nicest looking (and the one that got best of breed) but I didn't get any good shots of him unfortunately.

    Such great pictures Shelteez2, those little Chihuahuas were so cute. Did you notice their little curly tails? And the papillons were just so cute. What can I say? They were all cute. Thanks for sharing the pictures.

    Oooo wish I'd thought to do that yesterday. Great pics, I think i saw one or both of those chi's yesterday from across the building and I couldn't for the life of me figure out what it was...it looked like a ferret or something at a distance

    I love the outdoor show in august...I didn't enjoy it a couple of years ago however when it snowed and stuff...but I enjoy it for the 4 days of agility!!

    I love the outdoor show for the booths!! LOL I always spend way too much money there. I entered it in obedience a few years ago (Emily's first trial) and swore I'd never do it again. It was so bloody hot!!
    But if my dogs are ready this year I might just brave the weather and enter them in it. I mean I have a 50/50 chance of it being pouring rain (or snow) or being blazing hot right?? LOL

    It's Calgary there's always a chance that you'll get all three in a matter of minutes over the course of one day.

    More drooling going on here! I know what you mean about the lighting inside dog shows as I went to one a couple of months ago and also had trouble getting all of the shots I wanted. All of these dogs were beautiful and of course I did a little "gasp" at the poodles. As much as I do not care for the show clips, I am in awe just thinking about all of the skill that goes into sculpting those cuts. Just grooming Ripley and Bella in the puppy clip is hard enough for me. Thanks for posting these pics!

    That link should lead you to a list of dog shows in Ohio. I'm not sure if any are near you though, but it's a start. Some are only breed specific shows, and some are all breed shows.
