Today is the second anniversary of the day Preacher and Franklin joined our family. At the time they were supposed to be fosters, but that didn't work out! They had spent a year in the shelter and in the six months we fostered them, we had one inquiry and she only wanted Preacher. They were a package deal, separation was not an option. Even now, Franklin spends his days outside with the young dogs, but he still needs to come into the house regularly to get a Preacher fix. I can't remember what life was like without either of them.
