Hi all. I can't believe I'm saying this but...
Ok, Chris and I have always said that the only way we'd have four dogs is if we found either a mastiff or a bloodhound rescue puppy. Obviously rescue puppies are tough to find.
Look what I found yesterday....he's six weeks old, has an eye problem that is supposed to clear itself up, he's more submissive and the red color that we both love. He was given up by the breeder (grrrrr) because of his eye problem. This is a local no kill puppy rescue that's only about 20 minutes away from my house.
I filled out the application yesterday and am waiting to hear from the group.
Wish us luck!
*******UPDATE*******
So we went and visited with Homer and his sister Hazel. OMG!! Cuteness overload.
Homer is a little porker and Hazel is quite feisty. They both bayed at us and each other and their little mouths made a perfect little "O"! hehe
Homer fell asleep on my lap just the way he does with his foster mommy and she was quite impressed.
There were several other applicants and now we're just waiting to hear the final word.
P.S. Waiting sucks!!![]()
