I just received my Winter newsletter from the Hopalong Animal Rescue Shelter. David Duchovny (X-Files) is hosting a film "Best Friend Forgotten" which is being shown around the country. You can buy tickets online (they're not available yet for San Francisco). I hope to go to the show on February 12.

The goal of the 20-city tour is to spread awareness of pet overpopulation all across the U.S. and Canada and to help raise funds for animal welfare organizations.

Sounds interesting, although it's really not quite in my area (LOL )...I will read it thoroughly though!!!
I love the title "Best Friends Forgotten"...sadly this is too true...
