Here's an update on him.
I want you to know how much I love Apu. I hate to say this because I love all my animals..... I have a stronger bond with him than any of the other animals. I can't explain it at all? I am so grateful for him. He does silly things to make me laugh and wraps himself around my leg like a bear hugging a tree when I am home. He never scratches me. He likes to wrap himself around my neck and purr when I am on the computer. It is getting rough because I know he is more than 9 pounds now. Maybe 10. He is bigger than Baxter and much heavier. It is impossible to tell you how much he means to me. He talks alot and has a pleasant trill to every note that is highly distinctive and unlike any cat I have ever had. I felt from the moment I saw him he needed to be my kitty. I shouldn't think like this but, it would have been terrible if I hadn't taken notice of him. His poor little face was not the only reason I wanted him. I just love him so much!
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers
