And to think I was blaming it on Raccoon!
That's one of Shirley's kids. Here's Shirley. Something is wrong with her right eye.

Shirley is so sweet. Reminds me of my Skippy that I raised the released years ago.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

Until one has loved an animal, part of their soul remains unawakened.
Hmm.. I wonder if the squirrels around here would like my pumpkin instead of my pretty rose bush.

Poor Shirley. Hope it gets better. I'll bet they love those
pumpkin seeds.

Great pics! You are so lucky that you have so much wildlife close to you (Although I suppose with all the stray cats I feed, my garden would be the LAST place any wildlife would visit!)
I guess the raccoons would have eaten more of it.
Shirley and her baby are too cute. I hope that Shirley's eye gets better soon.

Poor Shirley, I hope her eye get better soon! How many babies did she have? This one is so cute.
We used to have a red squirrel in our walnut tree, right outside the bathroom window. Sir Patrick (the ex cat) climbed up in that tree, but was too clumsy to get down again in a dignified manner. He was a big striped tabby.

They are so cute! Last week it was the first time I saw a dark sqirrel, there are more red sqirrels here.
I hope Shirley's eye gets well soon.
How cute!

I didn't know squirrels liked pumpkins! I have a squirrel called, Bogy, who I put sunflower seeds in a jar in a tree for. I'll have to get him a pumpkin treat too! Thanks Shirley! I hope your eye is better soon!
