Please say a prayer for Bella to come home

Bella is my son`s family cat and is an outdoor/indoor cat. She hasn`t been seen since she was let out yesterday (Monday) morning. She did go missing for a couple of days once before, just after the family first moved to where they now live, but that was over 3 years ago. Besides the normal worry there is also the fact that it is the time of year when children/young people are letting fireworks off almost constantly - have been doing so for a couple of weeks now. I am going to call our local cats rescue in the morning to see if she has been found and handed in, my DIL has/is asking people to check their sheds, outhouses etc.
    This is her picture

Please say a little prayer for sweet Bella to soon be home safe and sound.

    Chris

Oh Chris - I hope Bella is found or returns home very quickly. It is so worrying at this time of year with all the fireworks going off isn't it?
I hope she's iin someone's shed or garage and is returned very quickly.

    (Bella c'mon home!)

Please come home Bella! It's so frightening this time of year not only because of the fireworks, but because of the stupid morons out there who are obsessed with black cats, or any version thereof. Saying a prayer that God leads her home.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

Remember, remember the fifth of November,
    Gunpowder treason and plot.
    We see no reason
    Why gunpowder treason
    Should ever be forgot!

Bonfire night is the 5th November in England.

Traditionally this means people attend firework displays with bonfire, toffee and sparklers. To celebrate the death of Guy Fawkes who tried and failed to blow up the houses of parliment many years ago.

But every year some idiots buy fireworks to set off in urban areas even during the day when the lights can't be seen.

I'll keep our herd inside next week/weekend when fireworks get very very frequent. Lucky we haven't hear many yet this year (Finger Crossed)

Have you started to make the rounds in your neighborhood? Sometimes a cat can get into a shed or garage and have the door closed on them. Ask your neighbors to check these places if they've been in them in the past couple of days.

I hope Bella is ok and comes home soon.

Thanks everyone for you prayers and good thoughts.

Jenny, thanks for explaining about Bonfire night. Around here the fireworks are going off all the time, I can hear them right now. It has been going on for a couple of weeks now, as soon as they were on sale the ****s were letting them off. It makes my blood boil! This is what happened to a human... (there are comments on the bottom and also links to other stories on the right of the page)

the dangers for the animal kingdom are obvious.

Thanks again everyone, I will keep you updated.
