My cat, Mongoose

Hi, Im new to this site. I have a 10 year old male cat who was diagnosed with diabetes in March of 2002. He is on shots of insulin (NHP 50/50) twice a day. He has gained back 2 lbs. of the 8 lbs. he lost when he got sick. I will post a pic later, cant find one right now.

Welcome you and Mongoose to Pet Talk! Glad he's managing better with his diabetes and has gained back some of the wight he lost. Was he overweight to start with, or does he need to gain more back?

He's at a good weight right now of about 11 lbs. He was about 18 before he got sick. Thank you guys for welcoming me to the site.
