We're trying the Wellness Fish & Sweet Potato you recommended. At first Max was not sure he even liked it. Which was very ironic since he's the one for whom I'm buying the stupid food.

Molly and Carly LOVE it! I figured I'd feed everyone the same thing except for the puppy, Muffin. She eats it but still gets some puppy food. I did move them over slowly, but at first we did have some upset tummies. We're working through it and I'm hoping this works.

The weather is cooling and we'll be having a couple of hard freezes soon which will also help. I'll say not having to give him a bath every 3 days will help my back. I'll still bathe regularly, but not quite as often since the dust will subside some with the change in seasons.

Thanks for the tip about the food. I'm willing to try anything for this poor little guy.

    Hi robin!!

Crossing my fingers that this helps Max too.

I've got all 3 of mine on it now, because it was just too
hard trying to make sure Maddie didn't get into Oz and
Murph's food. I don't remember any of them having
upset tummies, but I have noticed an increase in poop
production (man, I feel like I'm poop scooping all the
time now) and it's softer, not firm like when they
were on their other food. So that's definitely a drawback,
but I figure we can live with that if her skin stays looking
    good.

I use to bathe Maddie once a week, but the vet gave me
some spray to put on her to help her skin, so now she's
only getting a bath every 3 to 4 weeks. Her allergies
usually flare up in Oct, with the increase in Pollen in the
air, so we may have to increase the bathes during this
period. But so far she's doing okay. So we'll see.

Just a note to let you know that everyone has adjusted to the Wellness. At this point, Max is almost completely off all his allergy meds. He still chews a little bit, but the change is so amazing!

Thank you so much for your suggestion. I just can't believe the difference.

Oh that's great news robin! But Micki's the one that deserves
the thanks. She's the one that pointed me towards Wellness.
    So major kudos to Micki.

    YEAH MICKI!! Thanks so much!!

I never would have found this solution if not for your help. Dick and I were both so sceptical that this might be our solution to the allergy problem, but we so happy we were wrong.
