Typical reaction to a new package of toys

Last week I got a package I ordered from PetsMart. Here's their reactions.

Ripley only wanted to lick the cardboard on the Alpine Scratcher (strange)

And he didn't want to share (note the red eyes)

Finally, Jazz found her favorite thing... the box.

    Typical!!

    Funny aren't they !!!

Have you ever heard of a cat scratching box made of card board that has sand paper in between the layers? We saw it at a dog even, but I haen't seen any in the stores.

No, I haven't seen it. Sounds interesting. Would it keep their claws filed down? An emory board for cats - that would be wonderful!!

Mr Jones got a cardboard scratcher and he licked it. He licked a hole right through it!

You know...it seems that the boxes are always better than the toys. I remember ordering an expensive toy that I thought the babies would LOVE. Well they loved the box and the free pom-pom toys better than the actual toy.

I've seen those things at Petco - didn't notice the sandpaper layers. My Mishi steals my emery boards!
