    Kitty posture when relaxed

    I got to wondering about this while looking at the Cat of the Dat for 9/27 with the kitty totally relaxed on its belly with all four legs extended out and flat. Looks funny but the kitty seems happy! We have two 8 month old kittens who also lay in a similar way. Emily and Eliot. Both ALSO like to sleep on their backs with all four appendages straight up in the air as if waiting for a belly scratch - how in the world can these positions be comfy??

    Welcome to Pet Talk. Yes, cats will sleep in some interesting positions that look very uncomfortable. Your two kittens Emily and Eliot are so cute. I'd love to see some more pics of them. Perhaps you could start a new thread in cat general and then you could introduce yourself and your kittens too.

    As KAK wrote, perhaps you could intoduce yourself and your beautiful kittens in Cat General and tell us more! And let us see some more pictures of your cuties too!

It sometimes amazes me to see the positions my two sleep in, but if they find it comfortable, so much the better -- I get some cute pics (when I have batteries!) and post them here for everyone to ooh and ahh over. It is strongly suggested that you do the same -- we LOVE pictures! Your two are so cute~

    This is how my RB boy C-Fer use to lie most of the time. He looked very comfortable as he would lie like that for hours.
