    Filou in the sun

He's lying on my black desk right now and the pictures definitely can't show how his golden fur is shining in the sun. However we tried:

You can see that he is not a big boy: my hands aren't very big either

Most of the time I cannot understand how it comes that so much grace and beauty just lives in my house -and that this sweet little boy loves us too

You can see the shine in his fur, Barbara...he's so handsome and this picture really tempted me to reach out and touch his silky fur!!!

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.
    I miss you

I hear you whimper in your sleep
I gently pet you and say, no bad dreams
It will be alright, to my dog as dark as night.

Fur as dark as the night.
    Join me on this flight.
Paws of love that follow me.
In my heart you'll forever be.

How I wish I could hold you near.
Turn back time to make it so.
Hug you close and never let go.

Barbara, Filou is so beautiful. Yes, you can see how he just glistens in the sunlight.

I too, have often thought how fortunate I am to have such a magnificent animal in my home. It seems such little effort on my part to give him good care, good food and much love. The return comes flowing in a thousand fold.

Rascal will sit on my lap in the morning upon demand (prohibiting me from typing posts) and as I stroke him, he will nibble on my fingers. It always brings me great joy.

I know this is how you feel about Filou. Please stroke him for me and tell him how exceptional he is.

Barbara, I think the shining fur comes through pretty well. Filou is really a beautiful guy, I can't wait to touch him, he looks so soft! On the second picture, you can surely see he absolutely adooores you!!

Wow, Filou is gorgeous. Those are neat pictures.

I had to take a black and white photography class in college and your pictures are the kind he liked and called "inspired". He said you had to capture the emotion which is often lost in color pictures but it looks like you caught it with color too, particularly in that second photo.

I know you guys are going to get sick of hearing this, but I'M SO JEALOUS, Randi, that you can even conceive of touching Filou because you'll actually be SEEING him in not too long.

He is beautiful and I'm sure the picture doesn't do him justice, but it certainly does a real good job and we can see how the sun was shining right on him and making him glow. Great pics Barbara.
