    The Ratties Outdoor Adventure (PICTURES)

Since today is such a nice day, just a tad bit humid, I thought it would be nice to take the rats outside, since they have been cooped up in the house for quite some time. I also cleaned out the rabbit hutch. So, while I was cleaning out the rabbit hutch, they were playing in the grass:

*The pictures are large for a reason, so you can see their extreme cuteness better- well worth the wait.*

I finally got finished cleaning the rabbit hutch, so I put them in there. It got quite humid out, so I put a fan infront of the cage to keep them cool.

Fred & Sue (below Fred) enjoying the fan:

Vi getting her fair share of the fan:

Peanut says "Hey Pudge, what 'cha doin' down there?":

I opened up the cage door to get better shots of them, and they were all fasinated by the camera string. They all had to play with it. So, I thought this would be a good time to take close-up pictures of them.

I went outside just now to check on them, and they are all sleeping.

I'm gunna go make them a nice treat of canteloupe, yogurt, and other goodies. They can have a little outdoor picnic. Which means more pictures are on the way!

    PICNIC PICTURES

Well, like I said before, I made the ratties a nice feast, and they had a picnic. The feast included carrot coins, fruit salad baby food, and canteloupe triangles.

Here are some pictures of them enjoying their picnic:

Suzie was the first to try out the treat:

Then little Daisy came over and tried it out with Suzie:

    Peanut was the thrid rattie:

Close-up of Sue eating a canteloupe triangle:

Then the brothers, Fred & Oscar, came to try out the goodies:

Freddy INSISTED in nibbling on the flowers. I told them they weren't real, and they couldn't be eaten. I pushed him away, but he came right back. So I had to take them out:

So there ya have it....a rattie picnic.

Oh they are so cute! Never been a fan of rats but these little guys are too much! Love the tablecloth too.
