    Dog Sitting

Amy (Cincy's Mom) and Ralph went on Vacation to Florida in July. We kept their 3 dogs for them while they were gone. Which brought the total number of dogs at our house to 8. On Saturday the first day we had them we took them to the dog park to meet Staci who was dog sitting for her sister's dog, Scooby. Here are some of those pictures.

First loading up - Amy's dogs share the back seat of the van:

More dogs in car - Snoopy thinks he is driving - who needs humans for a dog park trip?

    Jack looking pretty:

    Cincy under the picnic table:

On the second day, another trip to the park was planned but rain obliterated this trip. However, Staci was already half way there by the rain hit so she joined us at our house. 10 Dogs in the house at the same time, oh my!!!!

Spot wants some loving. Scooby sits quietly on floor.

    Who is picking on who?

    Dogs, dogs, everywhere, dogs!

The rest of the week went by quickly (?). Somehow fewer pictures got taken. But the trips to the dog park continued.

    There were some rest times:

And that Spotty boy sure likes that loving especially from Grandpa:

But finally the week was over and mom and dad returned for the pups. Dad, Spot and Cincy worn out from the week take a nap together.

WOW, that a house full Looks like fun.

Wish we could do that with Tico and Max. But Tico always wants to go home. They just live 2 doors away. So I let them stay home and go there several times a day to let them out. We bring them over on Sunday nights for dinner and a movie and Tico always wants to go. Poor Tico, she is always so scared.

It was fun but it was also like having a house full of young kids. Sooner or later there had to be little spats between them. I think their dogs were glad to go home and ours were glad to see them go well - with the exception of Snoopy who needs that many dogs around to just wear him out each day.
