Some pics of my Mom's cats, hope you enjoy!

I took my camera to my mom's last night to take some photos of her babies (my other furkids). Just wanted to share some with everybody.

    Cucumber

    Midnight

    Ma-Gee

    Buttercup

Their story is that Cucumber came to my mom's garden one summer afternoon and was starving, so my mom started to feed her, that was 9 years ago. Two weeks later, Cucumber brought her babies to my mom. Buttercup was the sickest and was only given one week to live because she had pneumonia and conjuncitivitis so bad, but we beat the odds with her.

    More pics to follow.

    Smokey, Mystic, Abner

Gabriel (Dude), Gracie, Vegas, and Scarlet

These are the rest of her cats.

    Tiger Lily

    Lily Mae

    Figaro

    Rascal

Tiger Lily came 1 year after Cucumber came with her babies. I asked my mom not to turn her back on this little girl because she was so affectionate. Three weeks later Tiger Lily brought Rascal, Lily Mae, Figaro and Rufus (RB 2-2000).

We found out several months later that all of these cats belonged to a 10 year old girl up the road who only wanted the mom's so they could have kittens, then she would throw the momma cats out of the house and keep the kittens....needless to say, the momma cats are smarter than the girl.....they all brought the babies to a home that would take care of them.

Thanks for letting me share. I consider myself to be there Auntie, and I love these babies just as muchh as I love my own.

What a great story and it was so nice of your mom to take them all in - kittens and all.

And I what was wrong with the girl up the road. Sheesh, what kind of upbringing did she have.

Well, I can tell you that she no longer has pets.

We found out that she was the owner of all of the cats when she was doing a fund raiser and came to mom's house (I just happened to be there that day). She came in the living room and Ma-Gee and Midnight were sleeping there, the girl said "Gee I had cats that looked just like those 2 but they disappeared". Then Cucumber and Tiger Lily came around the corner, they took one look and the girl and ran downstairs. The girl informed my mom that those were her cats and she would be sending her parents down to get her cats.

As you can see from the pictures, my mom won out, the girls parents NEVER showed.

    They're all such beautiful cats!
I'm so glad that your mom has taken them all in. and the momma cats did the right thing, leaving and bringing all their kittens.
I'm just mad at that 10 year old girl, what she planned on doing was very wrong, I'm so glad that your mom was able to keep them.

    Aw, what cuties!

Thanks for the great pics! Buttercup is a very cute and very lucky kitty kat. Ma-gee doesn't look too impressed about having her photo taken though, lol, that look could shoot daggers!
