New member to our Family ^_^

My Husband finally broke down and decided that one of the stray kittens we found could become a full time member of the family. I knew he give in. He said it was the ears that did him in.

Well here's Tig. We call him Tig because he thinks he's a Tigger.....but he's really only half a Tig/ger. TIG!

He's doing good.....I would like for him to put on a little more weight though. The Vet says there nothing wrong with him....I guess I'm just a worrier. The Vet says that some cats are just long and skinny like that. I'm just use to fat and lazy cats. LOL

We assume that both the strays where a month old when we found them, by their size and all. So he be about 5 months old.....we guess.

As for being inside....we are still working on that one. He likes the screen in porch best. Inside is a place just to peek in and look around...but then right back out again. Atleast he getting along with MOST of the other pets....He wont back down for no one. Like I said he thinks he's a Tigger. He hasn't meet the Great Dane yet...so we will see if the "Tigger" become a mouse.

Tig is gorgeous. And he is a teenage cat -and just like some human teenagers they can be skinny when their legs have just started growing. He looks perfect and will anyway put on more weight in time

What a heart breaker. I can see why your husband broke down and melted.

    Good luck with Tig.

Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers

Yep, I can see how it was the ears! I think those are the biggest ears I've ever seen on a kitten. He's beautiful and I'm glad your husband agreed to let him stay.
