    RIP my little angel

I was in the nursery at the shelter this afternoon. There were two kittens in one cage. One was meowing at me, and the other one, a tortie, was sleeping.

I picked up the tortie I named Angel and she was very limp. I ran to the vet at the shelter and she said that Angel was suffering and it was probably best if she was put down. My heart sank. I asked the vet if I could be there with her when they gave her the injection because I don't believe that any animal or person for that matter, should die alone. She said no problem.

Little Angel went to the Rainbow Bridge in my hands (she was very tiny). I kissed her, and told her to say hi to Casey and Marina Mar for me.

Rest in Peace my little Angel. I will see you soon.

Rest In Peace Casey (Bubba Dude) Your paw print will remain on my heart forever. 12/02
Mollie Rose, you were there for me through good times and in bad, from the beginning.Your passing will leave a hole in my heart. We will be together "One Fine Day". 1994-2009
MooShoo, you left me too soon.I wasn't ready.Know that you were my soulmate and have left me broken hearted.I loved you like no other. 1999 - 2010See you again "ONE FINE DAY"
Maya Linn, my heart is broken. The day your beautiful blue eyes went blind was the worst day of my life.I only wish I could've done something.I'll miss your "premium" purr and our little "conversations". 1997-2013 See you again "ONE FINE DAY"

DO NOT BUY WHILE SHELTER ANIMALS DIE!!

    Donna,

Thanks for being with her. Very special job: escort across the Bridge.

Your hands surrounding her, were what she needed to help her.

Godspeed to the bridge, Angel, baby.

Oh God I'm a blubbering idiot now.....RIP sweet Angel. God bless you for being there!
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand and strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming WOO HOO - What a Ride!

I sitting here crying not because little Angel went to be with God, but because you are so kind to want to be with her in her final moments. You are such a kind woman, Donna. God bless you!

    Rest in Peace, sweet girl.

Thank you for being strong enough to be there for her, Donna.

Thank you for being so strong and staying with Angel when she went to RB.
But we hope it will take a long time before you see our furry friends there -there are more furkids and pettalkers needing your presence here, Donna

I have tears in my eyes. It is never easy to have to let our little one go but know that you are a very special person to escort Angel to RB. May she rest in peace.

My Tony, Tobias and Cleo will be there to greet her with open arms.

Oh this is so sad. I'm sorry to hear it, but glad you were there with her. You're a good person!
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers
