    Sorry, just can't resist: More Lily-pics! :)

I saw Lily again today and took more pics, and now I just have to share them!

This is her licking her nose:

Here is she trying to climb the scratching post - as you can see in her face, it's not so easy for her :

She has detected something interesting (note her special facial markings):

    Lily "attacking" her brother
(you can see her belly hanging down in that pic):

    Lily relaxed:

(some more of her are in this thread!

I love the last picture. She is adorable!
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers

Kirsten, she is just too adorable for words. Can't wait to see pictures of her and Luna together. How much longer until you can take her home?

She's four and a half week old now so I think she will stay at least 6 more weeks with her mommy...

I hope things will work fine with Luna and her!

I LOVE the look of concentration on her face as she is attempting to climb the scratching post. She is absolutely adorable... (sigh) I am envious that you are getting a kitten.

    What a sweet face!

Oh my Lily, what a cute kitty you are. I hope you enjoy your weeks with your first family and then switch nicely to your new Mom.

Kirsten, I think the longer they are with their family (Mom and sibs) the better adjusted they are. I got Juni Rose at 12 weeks and to me, it was just the right age. I got Graemer and Miley at 18 weeks and they were beyond their kitten stage by then....although they acted like kittens, just didn't look like kittens. I have had Juni for two weeks, and to me, she has not grown at all, but I bet she has!

I just can't wait for you to get Lily home and settled. It will be interesting and fun to see how Luna deals with the addition!

    Great photos. Keep them coming!

Ditto! Especially in the first pic - I don't think you can get much more adorable than that!

LOL, I will tell her next time about the nice welcome here at PT!

sasvermont, I was thinking their owners wanted her to stay with her mommy and sibling till she's 12 weeks old, but today, it didn't sound like that. I will talk to them again 'cause I also think they shouldn't be seperated younger than that....

Filou was 15 and Tigris was 12 weeks -I think they adjust MUCH better if they're a little more grown up -and at 12 they are still sooo cute.
And Lily is adorable -I think her sweet little cuddle belly is absolutely ok.

Oh, she is just adorable!! I love the pics!!

I agree that it will be best to be with her mom until she's 12 weeks old. I think she will stay healthier and also learn what she has to, from her mom.

Looking forward to see her grow up!
