    Sammy's 1st Big Adventure (to the cottage & on the lake) *PICS*

    (Sorry if the pictures take long to upload, trust me, they are worth the wait!)

    Sam had a HUGE weekend adventure! She went up to the cottage with us! Boy did she *love* it.

    Here is Sam's cat carrier in the car, the rats are on top. Don't worry, they were securely buckled to the seat!

    Then, on Saturday, she came fishing with us on the lake! Oh, did she love it! We brought along her cat carrier and her litter box. All she did was romp, play, meow, smell, and she even ate a minnow .

    "So you say this lever makes it go fast and slow!?! How do you use it!?!"

    Sam is the offical trolling motor operator:

    "Look, I know you put a big fish in here, you wouldn't mind taking it back out would you!?" Sam smelling the live well:

    And if that wasn't action packed enough, she had a visitor come over on Sunday. Rosie the chocolate Lab dropped on by:


    Plus, there were also three baby bunnies living around the cottage...of course Sam couldn't visit those. One was sitting on the side of the road (saved it), and one almost got squooshed sitting in the drive way. Luckily I spotted it in time and screamed "stop". They had fleas galore, so nasty! Don't worry, I didn't handle them with bare skin.



    The rats had a gay old time also.

    I am really happy that Sam doesn't get motion sickness, unlike Dudley, hopefully we will be able to bring her along all the time...it is wonderful to have her company up there!

    Wow what a fun trip! All of my kitties travel with me in the car - it's great when you can get them used to it at a young age. Tilly will get carsick if the road is really winding when we first start out.. if it starts out straight and she gets used to the motion of the car, she's fine on the winding roads. Plus, if she gets carsick, she always throws up in the litter box! What a smart girl! Maybe you could train Dudley with short trips?
