I have songs for my "Rainbow Bridge" pets.

For Leroy, my black kitty, I always sang:
Bad Bad Leroy Brown, but put in black.
and "At This Moment" by Billie Vera and the Beaters


For Tonee, my cocker and love of my life, I always sang:
"In This Life" by Collin Raye


For Shep-ee , she loved any thing by B. B. King and Lucille. When he would be on a TV commerical she would turn to listen!!

Shep never liked wearing a coat.

Tonee -- what a GOREGOUS pupper!! reminds me so much of my RB cocker, ButterScotch.

Tom my heart-cat's song was (and I don't know who sings it... it's a song my parents used to listen to) "If I had only one friend left, I'd want it to be you."

Max my RB kitty ... I didn't really have a song for him but I remember coming home from college esp to visit him (he was really ill) and knowing it would be the last time I'd ever see him alive. On the heart-heavy 5 hr trip back to my dorm, there was a song I heard on several diff. radio stations. It's a country song and I don't know who sings it or what it's called. It goes something like, "I'm going to smile so you don't see me hurting. Laugh, so you can't see me cry...."

My Sophie bunny - lol we had several songs. "She works hard for the bunny--so hard for the bunny!" "Ridin' along in my automobile, my bunny beside me at the wheel." lol and many others....

I have that song on CD!! It's by Dan Seals, and the CD I have is entitled "The Best." I love that song!!

I changed some of the words from the song Daisy, Daisy.. we sing it VERY high, and he tilts his head...

Another song of Tonee's was "Pretty Pretty Peggy Sue" that I changed to "Pretty Pretty Tonee Who"

And how could I forget my first cat "PUFF". In the 60's. He was a big big boy. His song was "Puff The Magic Dragon", that I change to 'Magic Kitty'. I changed all the words to fit "us"

I always sing "Ruby Tuesday" by the Rolling Stones to Ruby .... can you guess why???

On the way home from the vet when my RB girl Muffy was put down "Angel" by Sarah McLachlan came on the radio. Now, whenever I hear that I always think of her.
