Awwww, look at the adorable little goslings sandwiched between their caring (& careful) parents! Not that I know those are the parents, but I like assuming cute storybook endings.
    Thanks for sharing the pic!

Many thanks to Roxyluvsme13 & k9krazee for my great new siggy!!

    Awwwww....

That reminds me--- about this time five ( ) years ago, a handful of friends and I took a trip to FL. Of course we went to DisneyWorld (or is it Land? World, I think.) They have beautiful, beautiful, BEAUTIFUL landscaping. I went over to a most gorgeous flower basket (don't know that it can rightly be called a basket as it was HUGE). Hiding within the plant were 8 goslings!

Thanks for sharing such a sweet pic and bringing back such wonderful memories!

We see this all the time in the Chicago area...and I hate it! I mean it's cute and all, but I just know some idiot is going to come blasting along in their car and..... I see the geese standing just off the road all the time. The male is always on the alert while the female feeds, the next thing you know the....I hate it!!! Why can't the geese go out in the country to a nice pond somewhere instead of hanging around the man made ponds around here??!!?!? And the saddest part is the geese mate for life, so if one is killed, the other is alone. I'm sure they eventually find another mate, but I hate it that they have to be alone just because some people are heartless....so and so's!

We have seen a coyote in our backyard. This is really cool, until you realize that we have two major interstates in the immediate vicinity, and major streets on the other two sides....where is the coyote going to go when he leaves our backyard? I hate it!

I wish I could just pick them all up and take them out in the country someplace where they don't have to worry about such man made menaces.

    Hi Tubby & Peanut's Mom,

I know exactly what you mean. The saddest part of all is that the "out in the country" where animals belong is becoming smaller and smaller. I moved up to New England to get away from Suburban sprawl, but it just seems to follow you wherever you go. I guess as long as there are humans around, there is going to be problems like this. It's very depressing to me when I think about it.
