I brought my rats to our garage sale today, and a lady told me that she had a rat and that she had been trying to get rid of it, and if she couldn't she would put it down...

So she brought it over to me because I said I'd take it, but my mom wouldn't let me When she brought Mowgli (that's the rat) over, my mom freaked out

He was a sweet guy...A fawn self with a white patch on his back...

The owner seemed like she thought she was taking care of him, but from the looks of it, they were a little ignorant... Mowgli was being fed those large pellets (i forget the name ) and he was using 100% pine bedding...His friend just died, so I was cautious and only scratched his head...(I washed my hands after) his fur was very coarse and dull...Not like my ratties, they have very soft and shiny fur...

I took her number, and I'm hoping one of my friends will take him, but I know they won't...I've convinced them to take two of Icarus's kittens already, they won't want or be allowed to have another...

I hope that Mowgli finds a good home...
