    Beto...It was so much fun to see a hermit crab as Pet of the Day!....and a very handsome crab you are..............Last summer I won a hermit crab at a carnival and have grown to really appreciate what fascinating animals they are....they are endlessly curious and surprise! affectionate....at least my Malachi is.....He is a big boy like Beto...over 2 inches now........thank you for letting us see and enjoy you and your brothers, Rodrigo and Alonzo at the Hermit Crab Disco......(and congratulations on being our special Pet of the Day!)
    For Gus, my sweet cockatiel who sadly flew out of my life in 2000. You taught me how deeply I could love an animal. Thank you for teaching me how special and wonderful birds are!

    What a great Pet of the Day!!!! I'm so sorry I missed your day in the spotlight, Beto, but sometimes these old computers don't behave too well!!! I don't remember ever seeing a hermit crab honored as Pet of the Day! But I'm glad I have now!!! You have a beautiful new "home", Beto, that fits you perfectly and you look so alert and happy in your picture!!! Congratulations to you, Beto!!!!
