    Dear Amber. I have to tell you, you are one of the most stunning Labbie girls I've ever met!!! You are one big, beautiful, platinum blond with the face of an angel and a heart of gold! I'm sure that all who meet you fall in love with you! So much Lab to love!! And I'm not surprised to read that you've opened up that huge Labbie heart of yours to welcome in your Golden sister Maggie! It sounds like your proud family has more than enough love (and treats!!) to go around!! What a great team you two must be! As a Lab Mom myself, I know what very special companions you Labbies are and I know how very proud your people must be to see their beautiful Amber honored here today! Get that "happy meter" of yours cranking, and that Labbie buttsky wiggling! You precious Amber are our very beautiful, sweetest and most deserving, Dog of the Day!! Congratulations to you dear Amber! And just for today, forget the diet....TREATS ALL AROUND! And please have your "sister" give you a huge Amber sized hug from me!

    Amber, I'm sorry we don't get to see a video of your "wagging meter", but what we are getting to see is one beautiful girl!!! What a happy family you must have!!! Sorry about the weight issues. Sometimes we girls just have to watch our figures, don't we? It sounds like you have found the perfect solution though, a great Golden pal to play with!!!

    Amber, I have to agree with you. You are the luckiest dog because it appears you have landed in a family who appreciates your beauty and personality. And if that picture of you was taken in your own back yard, well the whole bunch of you lucked out to live in such an idealic setting.

    Amber, I have to mention too- what a pretty name you have. We are so happy to have you serve as our Dog of the Day. If we had *happy meters* they would be going a mile a minute right now. But since we don't, you'll just have to consider the big smiles that are plastered on everybodys face as your picture pops up on their monitors today.

    Amber I have to agree with Rachel on this! What a face and what a setting!! If your picture today isn't a perfect picture of happy doggie contentment then I don't know what is. I would love to flop down in the grass right beside you and just bask in your sweet labbieness! Your humans are so fortunate to have you and I know they realize that too because they have nominated you, and you have been selected, as our very special Dog of the Day!!!!!!

    I'm glad to hear that you have a new sister, and have welcomed her with open paws. Youngens can be a pain, but they sure are fun!!!!

    Amber, when I first saw you, I thought you were a Great Pyrenees! You are a beautiful dog. And I'm glad your "happy meter" is always in motion. You look like a big, loveable teddy bear and I'll bet your coat is really soft. Congrats on being our DOTD!
