Ive always loved pitbulls, and cant believe some people wouldn't! They are a very good family dog, and very affectionate! People who say pits are bad dogs, or aggresive have never really had one, or they think of the horrible reputation pits have!

It's sad how most Pit Bulls are mistaked for "bad" dogs, because not all of them are bad! Some of them are so affectionate(sp?) and people don't realize(sp?) most of them are good natured dogs. My uncles, brother had a Pit Bull named Zeus and he was so nice, he loved to cuddle and ADORED kids. But unfourtunatly the dog got hit by a car last summer

i also luv pit bulls, they are so lovable, tolerant and kid friendly. they can do sooo much to, flyball, agility, herding, weight pulling, etc. i don't know if alot of pit bulls herd, but my aunt uses 3 pit bulls for her cows.

But what about all these people who hear about dog attacks, they are such idiots, and they automatically think it's a Pit Bull! And those horror stories:

"A lady was walking down the street, carrying a baby, and then this huge Pit Bull just ripped the baby out of her hands, and tore it apart. Tha lady didn't do anything to the dog, or it's owner's property."

I don't get it! They can be soooo sweet, but then they can be sooooo mean! No offense to you, KayAnn! I know it's the dumb owner's fault if they are mean dogs, though!

Myth: Pit bulls have locking jaws.
Fact: "Locking jaws" do not exist. No one has ever found a mechanism that enables a dog to lock its jaws. However, a pit bull's strength and determination can make it seem as though the dog's jaws have "locked".

I thought they had locking jaws. I have also herd ppl say they have two sets of teeth. .. I love pitt bulls I hope to own a Bull terrier one day if that counts lol. I love their cute faces!!
