    Report from Andalucia

    Hi All!

We're in Sevilla now, staying in Nita's flat - and sharing it with her cats Sirocco and Neelix. There's also a third female cat, tuxedo, about 6 months old. This one was rescued from the street by her friend and has been confined to one room, until we came yesterday. She is getting along reasonably with the others, but hissing at poor Sirocco, hence the name Bufy (or something like that, which mean hissing in spanish).

Nita is hoping to find a forever family for this cat. Fingers crossed!

The first place we stayed, a small finca with 3 rooms near Antequera, we were welcomed by an orange tabby, a white cat who immediately lay on the bonnet to warn himself on the engine, and a black cat. The orange and white were all over us whenever we sat on the terrasse, but the black one was rather shy.

We're planning to out and see some prossesions now - the weather has cleared up.

Take care - and don't forget to vote on "Thread of the year 2002"!!

    Will check in later.

    Update

We've seen even more kitties now - Luna, a big orange tabby girl and beautiful Greta. We took a break after the Gran Poder prosession (the silent one) around 1 AM last night and went to Nita's boyfriend's place where these two lovely cats live. We got great photos.

It was a real treat to be with Nita who knows all the very best places in town. And we met her friends in a jazz Bar too.

However, it was not all fun. When we tried to get a Taxi back to the Triana barrio, where Nita's flat is, I fell and hurt my knee rather badly, so I can hardly walk today. Boring!!

We'll be driving to Estepona tomorrow and stay with friends there until wednesday.

Will post lots of pics when we get back.

Stay safe - and Happy Easter to everybody!

I just noticed that Sara and me (in my PM) have been the only people to talk about wine and tapas to you and now I wonder whether we should feel guilty for your knee
However we wish that it gets better asap and that you enjoy the many new kitties you've met.

What I heard from Fister was also the story with the Jacuzzi and it looks as if a certain Belgian kitty with an entrepreneurial spirit made it to the 5 stars cat hotel where Fister relaxes from his Mom renovating the corridor. (Filou and Tigris send their heartfelt understanding).

    Have a wonderful holiday

Randi, I am so sorry about your fall and hurt knee. I hope it is something temporary and won't ruin your vacation.

Tapas - oh....my mouth waters. Have a wonderful vacation and we are glad that you can check in with us.

  13. Too much tapas!?!?!?!? Been there, done that!

    Be careful out there!

How do you say meow in Spanish?
