    So Proud of Lolly!!!!

    I think most of you know Lolly's had an awful abusive past. She was with the idiots for 5 years so she's had a lot of trauma to get over. I've had her for almost two years and she's been improving slowly but surely. Well tonight she was playing fetch with my 3 year old cousin!!!!!! I AM SO HAPPY. The first time she met my cousin (a year ago or so), she ran under the coffee table, put her head down and growled. I NEVER let my cousin anywhere near her unsupervised and I've been working with them every so often. Lolly was actually playing with her tonight! SO proud of my girl

    Here's a funny little thing:
    Lolly got tired when she was playing fetch and stopped running after the toy Kali was throwing. So I explained to Kali that Lolly was tired and asked her if she could see her panting. Kali laughed and said "Dogs don't have panties!!!!!!! Peoples do! Dogs have tails not panties!" No matter how hard I tried to tell her what PANTING was, she kept laughing at me thinking it was PANTIES. Hehe, that was pretty funny.

    Oh, Lolly, how nice! It's funny that I was one of the only ones as "Pet Talk Texas" that got to see the growling, snarling, playing Lolly! Glad you're coming out of your shell more and more!

    Glad to hear that Aly!

    It's so nice when you know your presence makes such a difference in their lives (That's how I feel about Huney too, she's come a long way since we first brought her home.)
